These general terms and conditions are subject to revision.

REGISTRATION

Participants must be over 18 years of age. VOXEA does however accept participants over the age of 16. In this case the registration form must be completed, signed and sent by a parent or guardian, giving his or her full address and telephone number.

A residence permit is necessary for all foreign participants after a stay of three months. A visa is required by the Swiss authorities for some nationalities. VOXEA will be pleased to give you further information on this.

The details and address of the accommodation selected will be sent to the participant at least 2 weeks before the start of the course.

PAYMENT, CANCELLATION AND REIMBURSEMENT

Registration fees are payable immediately. Course fees and accommodation costs must be paid at least 4 weeks before the start of the course. Payment is due immediately if registration takes place less than 4 weeks before the courses start. Confirmation of registration and a detailed invoice will be sent to the participant. If the course is cancelled by the participant before it starts, the course fees and accommodation costs will be refunded. Registration fees and other expenses will not be repaid. If the course is cancelled by the participant less than 5 working days before it starts, the costs of one week’s course and any accommodation (2 weeks for courses lasting more than 8 weeks) will be retained.

Private tuition sessions must be cancelled by telephone to the Administration Department during opening hours or by e-mail to info@voxea.com.A notice of astt least 48 hours is required so that the lessons can be postponed (subject to instructor availability) and to avoid being charged for the lessons missed.

Depending on the course, a minimum number of participants is required to run a class. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, VOXEA reserves the right to cancel the course. Participants will be informed at least two weeks beforehand and course and registration fees already paid will be reimbursed. Participants may not claim compensation for inconvenience caused or other damages.

VOXEA is closed on local public holidays. Group courses due to be held on those dates will not be postponed or reimbursed unless previously agreed with management.

OBLIGATIONS OF PARTICIPANTS

Participants are required to attend the course on which they are registered regularly. If they are absent from or leave the course before it ends for any reason whatsoever, the course fees will not be repaid in any form, even pro rata. In case of accident or illness, the course may be continued later, within a period of one year. In this case a medical certificate is required.

Participants arriving at the course more than ten minutes late will not be allowed in class until after the next break.

If a participant behaves badly or with ill intent, VOXEA reserves the right to exclude him or her from the school. No repayment will be made in this case.

INSTRUCTORS

VOXEA reserves the right to replace an instructor for a specific or indefinite period. Participants many not claim damages due to a change of instructor.

INSURANCE

VOXEA accepts no liability for theft, damage or loss of property in its premises. All participants are responsible for checking their private health insurance cover before the course begins. Participants under 18 years of age must produce a health and accident insurance certificate covering the period of their stay.

COMPLAINTS

All complaints should be addressed to our Administration Department. Management will investigate them and will take the necessary action within a reasonable period if they are justified..

PHOTOGRAPHS

VOXEA reserves the right to take photographs of the participants to illustrate its advertising material; a written note will be sent a few weeks before the shoot. If participants or their parents do not agree to this procedure, the Administration Department must be informed.

These General terms and conditions and any disputes are governed exclusively by Swiss law. The courts of Lausanne (Switzerland) have exclusive jurisdiction.
